ChatGPT is gearing up to become your new favorite digital assistant.

A new feature of ChatGPT by OpenAI has been introduced in the Tasks beta (beta) version. Users can direct this AI chatbot to perform tasks once or repeatedly at a specified future time.

So far, ChatGPT lacks many features that would make it a very useful digital assistant.

This is why the Tasks feature is being made a part of ChatGPT to give it a clear shot at assistants like Google Assistant and Siri.

Announcing the feature’s introduction in an X (Twitter) post from the company, it was noted that you can now schedule future tasks for ChatGPT.

Whether it’s a one-time reminder or a recurring task, tell ChatGPT what you want at what time and it will automatically take care of it, the company said.

The reminders you set will be on the Tasks page in the profile menu in the web version of ChatGPT. You can also change or delete them by viewing them there.

Up to 10 tasks will be allowed to be scheduled at a time.

The company said you can use this feature every morning to check the weather, check stock prices,, or even learn a new word in a foreign language.

A daily summary of AI news can also be accessed through it. Initially, this feature is being rolled out to ChatGPT monthly fee-paying users.

But the company promised that soon this feature will also be available to users using ChatGPT for free.
