In a car show held in Las Vegas this week, the Japanese car manufacturer Honda introduced its new electric car models. In contrast, other cars include the best car in Europe, Tesla’s latest model in China, and Ford’s most expensive sports car.
This sports car can run at a speed of 325 km per hour.
Honda’s new ‘unconventional and bold’ electric car
Honda has unveiled two new electric models at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, which are part of the Zero Series and will be launched in 2026.
Honda presented the concept and outline of these two car models at the Las Vegas Auto Show last year. Concerning the models presented this year, the company states that when they become available in the market in 2026, they will be 90 percent similar to those models.

Honda’s first model launched in the Zero series is an SUV. The front part of the design of this car is more or less conventional but the rear part of the car with small glass, high and long body, and U-shape lights make it unconventional in the SUV car market.
The second electric car model offered by Honda named ‘Saloon’ is one of the most luxurious cars in the Zero series. However, its design is quite unconventional and bold.

This model does not have much ground clearance and has a long and sporty look. The headlights and body panels of this vehicle are the same color. While its rear lights are 3D. The saloon has no glass in the back door and the rearview mirror works with a camera. The side mirrors are also replaced with cameras.
Honda has yet to release the technical specifications of these cars, but it says they can travel 482 km on a single charge. The vehicle’s steering wheel is also not mechanically linked to the tires but is controlled electronically.

Along with these two cars, Honda has also introduced its new operating system which is named ‘Asimo OS’. It is named after the humanoid robot that Honda created 20 years ago.
Honda has announced that its new operating system can understand the mood and habits of the driver, adjusting the car’s features and environment accordingly. This system uses artificial intelligence and can communicate with the driver. In a video released by Honda of this operating system, ‘Asimo’ tells the driver that he is not feeling well so he plays a happy song for him.

Honda’s Zero series cars are based on Level 3 automated cars, which means that on some roads the driver can take his hands off the steering wheel and the car will continue to drive with the help of automatic technology.
Seven models of Honda’s Zero series will be introduced in the market by 2030. The first two of these models will be manufactured in the US state of Ohio and will be exported to other countries after being introduced in the US.

Apart from this, Honda has also partnered with Sony to develop another electric car ‘Afeela‘. This car will be available for sale in the market from next year and its introductory price has been set at 90 thousand dollars.
