Although smartphone charging technology has significantly improved, it still takes at least an hour to fully charge a phone.

However, soon you will be able to fully charge your smartphone in just 5 seconds.
Yes, a company has developed a device that can charge your smartphone in seconds. The device, called Swap It, was unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.
The device looks like a tissue box, but you have to insert a phone into its open mouth. The phone comes out with a new battery in just 2 seconds after going in and it feels like magic has happened.
To use it, the user also needs a special phone case with the device, which the company has named Link. There is a battery on the back of the case which is inserted into the device and the same battery is replaced by a pre-charged 3500 mAh battery to keep the phone fully charged.
According to the company that makes it, changing the battery takes 2 seconds and is so lightning-fast that most users don’t even know about it. The company said the device can work with any phone as long as it has the Swap It case.
The battery pack feels a bit thicker than other phone cases, but there is still not much of a difference.
There are a total of 5 batteries inside the device and according to the company, 5 people in a household can share a new fully charged battery with lightning speed. After one, when another user uses the device, he has to wait for 4 seconds.
The device also works with a free app that checks your battery percentage and gives you the option to charge it to a specific percentage. The device is priced at $450 while a case will be available for $120.
According to the company, for now, you have to wait and the device will be available to users in the next few months.
