According to the company, the systems currently being used to store energy are harmful to the environment.
The company said its paper battery has the same lifespan as a traditional lithium battery while being much lighter and cheaper. It is capable of powering nearly any electronic device.
According to Flint, its revolutionary battery technology was developed with environmental sustainability in mind. Hydrogel was incorporated into paper for use in lithium battery devices.
A prototype model of this battery was introduced at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas last week, and the company expects people to show interest in the technology. The company has also raised $2 million in investment to develop paper batteries on a commercial basis.
The company said, “In real life, we are ready to bring this battery to market.”
The company added that our batteries take care of things that are not present in traditional technologies, and we believe that this battery technology can change the industry.
Flint is also in talks with more than 20 companies for its commercial production.
