Apple has made significant progress in developing its first smart glasses.

Apple is known for its iPhones, iPads, and Mac computers, but the company is soon set to introduce a new device.

According to a Bloomberg report, Apple is actively working on smart glasses.

Rumors about Apple’s smart glasses have circulated for a long time, but a new report states that the company has made strides in developing a chip to power its first smart glasses.

The report indicated that advancements in chip manufacturing will also expedite the work on smart glasses within the company, and production of this new device is likely to commence by the end of 2027.

This suggests that in the next two years, the company may introduce its first smart glasses.

These glasses are not the fully augmented reality (AR) glasses that many have speculated about, but they are designed to directly compete with Meta’s Ray-Ban glasses.

It remains unclear what specific features Apple’s smart glasses might include, but according to the report, the company will initially launch AR glasses.

The report highlights an exciting development: these glasses will be equipped with cameras to scan the user’s surroundings. Artificial intelligence (AI) will also provide helpful support, making navigating the environment easier for the user.

Additionally, the report stated that Apple Chief Executive Tim Cook aims to surpass Meta in the smart glasses market.

Consequently, the company plans to introduce various models to attract a broader range of consumers while also keeping the pricing reasonable.
